TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 16-week assignment in Burlington, Vermont. The role requires 1 year of ultrasound experience, BLS, ARDMS (RDMS AB/OB-GYN/FE) certifications, and state licensing where required.

You will perform ultrasound procedures, educate patients, and prepare examinations for radiologists. The position offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and a tax-free stipend may be determined.

Formación

• Able to stand and walk long periods; solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

• Prepare exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
• Report abnormalities that require immediate attention to medical staff.
• Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure; conduct scans and write reports.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

We are looking for an Ultrasound Technologist (US Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Burlington, VT. The right US Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

As a US Tech, you will be responsible for the use of the ultrasound machine and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. US Techs are also responsible for the preparation of and caring for patients undergoing ultrasound testing.

Tasks

• Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed
• Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern
• Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff
• Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failureConduct scan tests and write reports based on the results
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARDMS National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required.

US Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. US Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
