Travel Ultrasound Technologist – Schofield, WI

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Schofield, Wisconsin. The position requires 40 hours per week, 8‑hour rotating shifts, and is a travel role.

Responsibilities

• Use ultrasonic machines to acquire accurate images and pass them to physicians for interpretation.
• Prepare and care for patients undergoing ultrasound testing.
• Educate patients and/or patient’s family regarding procedures performed.
• Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern.
• Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound‑guided biopsies.
• Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff.
• Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure.
• Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as an ultrasound technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARDMS National Certification.
• State‑specific licensing when required.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop for extended periods of time.
• Additional certifications (CCI, 2 Years) may be required before beginning the assignment.

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
