Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking a Sonographer to join our expanding network. This travel assignment in Andalusia, Alabama runs for 13 weeks, with a 40-hour workweek and dayshift schedule, performing a range of ultrasound procedures in diverse clinical settings.

Requires ARDMS, active state license, and at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification required.
• Active license to practice as a Sonographer in the state of employment required.
• Completion of obstetrics/gynecology, cardiac, vascular or musculoskeletal certificate program as required.
• Two years of recent experience in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for procedures ensuring comfort and safety while following safety protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images.

Minimum Qualifications

• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT scanners, and ultrasound machines, to obtain high-quality images.
• Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients during procedures, observing for any complications or unusual events, and report findings to the physician.
