The position features 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting, and requires ARDMS certification, an associate or bachelor’s degree, and BLS. As a travel professional, you’ll collaborate with physicians, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

Active ARDMS certification is required.
Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy.
American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
At least 2 years of recent ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality ultrasound images.
Identify normal and abnormal results and communicate findings to physicians.
Prepare patients for procedures and educate them during the exam.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate imaging equipment, and review images to be sure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis
Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary of the results to physicians/health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems
Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam
Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility
