American Traveler is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for a 13-week assignment in Colorado. Requires ARDMS/RVT, BLS, CO licensure, and at least 6 months of current sonography experience. Independent work and confident communication with RN/MD staff are essential.

Hospital setting with 422 beds, day/night shifts, 12-hour shifts, and on-call Saturdays. Uses GE/Philips equipment with Meditech EMR; housing and travel reimbursements provided.

Formación

• Minimum of 6 months of current Sonographer experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ARDMS and RVT certification required.
• Active CO licensure required if applicable.
• Neonatal head experience and general sonographer experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and communicate confidently with RN and MD staff.

Responsabilidades

• Hospital-based Ultrasound department with 422 beds and a staff of 7 sonographers.
• Day shift staffed with 3 general sonographers, night shift staffed with 1 sonographer.
• Uses GE and Phillips ultrasound equipment.
• Meditech EMR.
• 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• On-call required Saturdays 6 PM to 6 AM on a Q6 week rotation.
• Typical caseload of 8-15 scans per 12-hour shift.
• Performs abdominal and pelvic ultrasounds and lower extremity duplex studies (venous and arterial).
• Responsible for proper hand-off communication to oncoming AM staff.
• Relaxed work environment with variable workload.
• Small, family-like team atmosphere.
• Located in an area with 300+ days of sunshine annually and easy access to outdoor recreation and the Rocky Mountains.
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered.
