Qualifications

• Active ARDMS certification required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy.
• American Heart Association BLS.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and review images for quality and diagnostic usefulness.
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results and communicate summaries to physicians; alert to urgent problems.
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients during the ultrasound exam.
• Review patient medical history, document imaging results in records, and coordinate care with departments.
