Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Little Rock, AR. The role requires 1 year of experience, BLS, and ARDMS certification with state licensing as needed. You will operate ultrasound equipment, assist Radiologists, educate patients, and ensure accurate documentation.

Assignments include 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts, with a tax‑free stipend and weekly pay through a top staffing agency dedicated to travel healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ARDMS national certification required.
• State licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and identify areas of concern.
• Prepare exam room and assist radiologists with procedures.
• Report abnormalities to medical staff.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctions.
• Prepare scans and write reports based on results.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the PACS system.
