Job Summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Odessa, Texas. The position will start ASAP, involves 8‑hour daily shifts for a total of 40 hours per week, and is classified as a travel contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and review images to ensure they are of good quality and useful for diagnosis.
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary of the results to physicians or health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems.
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam.
• Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility.

Qualifications

• Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of recent relevant experience.

Contract Details

• Compensation: $1,740 – $1,930 per week (subject to confirmation).
• Contract length: 2‑week assignment with possibility to extend.
• Shift: AM shifts available.
• Setting: Hospital.
