Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for a travel/onsite assignment in Atlantis, FL. You will work 12-hour night shifts, three days per week, on a 13-week contract. Heavy call and onsite responsibilities require ARRT/ARDMS certification and hospital experience.

Unit uses ultrasound, X-ray, MRI, and CT with Meditech EMR; address is 5301 South Congress Ave, Atlantis, FL 33462. Competitive benefits accompany the assignment.

Qualifications

• Must have: BLS, RDMS & RVT & ARRT (S)/ARDMS Certification.
• 2 years Hospital experience as an Ultrasound Tech.
• ACLS not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to create diagnostic images of body structures.
• Explain findings and ensure patient safety during scanning.

Number of Staff – 4 Tech 24 hours a day, 12 hour shifts

Type of staff: 4 Techs total

o Day Shift – 4 Techs, 1 table, 12 hour shifts

o Night Shift – 4 Techs, 1 table, 12 hour shifts

Patient Ratios – 1:1

Type of equipment - Client, 1.5 , Discovery 450, X-Ray, MRI and CT machines

EMR –Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile

• Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
• Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• BLS, RDMS & RVT & ARRT (S)/ARDMS Certification
• 2 years Hospital experience as an Ultrasound Tech
• Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• ACLS but not required

Typical procedures performed on unit(s):

Operate equipment that utilizes sound waves to create images of the body s internal structures

Create pictures of bones, organs, tissues and combine to create accurate picture assessment
