TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Brunswick, Maine. The Tech will perform ultrasound procedures, prepare exam rooms, and coordinate with Radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and reporting. Requires 1 year of experience, ARDMS, and BLS certification, plus applicable state licensing.

The role includes travel, 40 hours per week, with shift of 8 hours in daytime. Benefits details and pay package are provided by TotalMed Allied upon submission.

Competenze

• 1 year of ultrasound technologist experience.
• BLS and ARDMS certification required.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Mansioni

• Educate patients and/or family regarding procedures performed.
• Use ultrasound equipment to identify and observe areas of concern.
• Prepare exam room and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
• Report abnormalities requiring immediate attention to medical staff.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any machinery issues.
• Perform scans and write reports based on results.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
