Job summary

Cross Country Allied is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist in Salinas, CA. The Ultrasonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in an outpatient setting, coordinating with Radiology and physicians to deliver high-quality imaging.

You will assist with patient preparation, equipment handling, and accurate documentation while ensuring safety and comfort. Requirements include RDMS certification in at least one specialty, current BLS, completion of an accredited ultrasound

Qualifications

• RDMS certification in at least one specialty area (Abdominal, Vascular, or Obstetrical)
• Current BLS certification
• Completion of an accredited ultrasound training program
• Minimum of two years as a licensed Sonographer with recent Epic experience

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures (gallbladder, abdomen, pelvis, OB exams, biopsies)
• Provide patient care and prepare patients for examinations
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Collaborate with Radiologists on ultrasound studies
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions
• Assist with scheduling patient exams and travel logistics
• Ensure accurate documentation of ultrasound findings
• Adhere to shift schedule of 8 hours and 40 hours weekly
