Supplemental Health Care, Inc. is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Jacksonville, North Carolina. This travel role requires 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts, and offers hospital-based experience with potential extension.

The position requires ARDMS certification, an associate or bachelor’s degree with sciences/anatomy coursework, AHA BLS, and at least two years of relevant experience. SHC provides competitive pay and comprehensive benefits to travelers.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and review images for quality and diagnostic value.
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results and communicate summaries to physicians, signaling urgent issues when needed.
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate them during the ultrasound exam.
• Review medical history, record imaging results, and coordinate care with hospital departments.
