Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for a PCU/Progressive Care Unit assignment in Denton, Texas. The 13-week contract requires a TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of trauma stepdown experience, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 36 hours per week.

Pay is $1,609 per week, with travel stipends, benefits, and a tax-free per diem. Start date is 12/22/2025, and accommodations are subject to assignment details.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of trauma stepdown RN experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• No gaps in work history of 12 months or more in the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Surgical Trauma Stepdown unit.
• Shift is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Cares for post-surgical and trauma stepdown patient population.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Must provide copies of nursing license, BLS, and completed references for consideration.
• Scrub or dress code and onboarding details provided upon assignment.
