ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a Trauma Stepdown Unit in Charleston, West Virginia. The RN will provide care for multi-system trauma and surgical patients in a high‑tempo IMC/PCU setting.

Requirements include 2 years of RN experience, WV or Compact license, and BLS/ACLS; CPI and TNCC are preferred. Night shifts are 7 PM–7 AM (4x12) with occasional weekend coverage.

Strong assessment, telemetry, IV, and critical‑care skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 2 years RN experience; 1 year in specialty preferred.
• Current WV or Compact RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; CPI and TNCC preferred.
• Strong IV, telemetry, and critical care meds skills.
• Trauma experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions.
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and conditions.
• Administer medications and perform IV starts, telemetries, and conscious sedation.
• Participate in patient care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Float as necessary to cover floor beds as needed during shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Trauma Stepdown Unit. This role involves providing nursing care to multi-system-injured trauma patients and surgical patients in a fast-paced Intermediate Care (IMC) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in trauma and step-down care, ensuring quality patient outcomes in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions.
