Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU position requiring a current CA RN license and 2 years of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Trauma ICU of an acute care hospital
• Level II Trauma Center and Magnet-designated teaching facility
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Weekend shifts are required
• Floating required within ICU and Telemetry units as needed
• Cerner EMR is used in this facility
• Free parking is available for staff
• Level II Trauma Center patient care responsibilities in the ICU
• Must complete 3-6 hours of required training modules during orientation
• Scrub attire should be professional with no camouflage or character patterns
• Up to 7 days of requested time off permitted, with 1 holiday off approved
• Returning staff must have a one-year break before reapplying
• COVID vaccination status is required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
