Job summary

ARMStaffing seeks a travel nurse RN for the ED in Augusta, GA, starting ASAP for a 13-week assignment. The role is nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), 36 hours per week, with the travel employment type.

The Trauma Nurse Lead in the emergency department emphasizes trauma assessment, IV access, and rapid decision-making in high-pressure settings. TNCC is mandatory; ENPC preferred; ACLS/BLS/PALS required.

Qualifications

• Current TNCC certification is mandatory.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Extensive experience in emergency department and trauma care.

Responsibilities

• Perform primary and secondary patient assessments in a trauma setting.
• Run mass transfusions using a level 1 rapid infuser.
• Assist in the operating room as required.
• Provide strong IV support and establish IV access for patients.
• Demonstrate rapid critical thinking skills in high-stress situations.
