Job summary

Delta360 in Louisiana seeks an experienced CDL driver to transport diesel and gasoline, primarily on the road, supporting company facilities and customer sites across the region. The role involves frequent travel with company-paid lodging and per diem, and a strong focus on safety and customer service.

You will work closely with dispatch, perform vehicle inspections, and ensure compliance with DOT and safety regulations while maintaining timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement in good standing.
• Ability to perform basic math, read orders, complete documentation and follow instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle to transport diesel and/or gasoline safely and efficiently.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatch for routing and instructions.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure safety and DOT compliance.
• Deliver and unload fuel in a safe and professional manner to meet customer expectations.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements to prevent accidents or injuries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle to transport diesel and/or gasoline safely and efficiently
• Maintain regular communication with dispatch/supervisor for routing and delivery instructions
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure safety and DOT compliance
• Deliver and unload fuel in a safe and professional manner to meet customer expectations
• Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements to prevent accidents or injuries

Qualifications / Position Requirements

• Ability to perform basic math, read orders, complete documentation, and follow instructions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers and team members
• Ability to read and navigate using maps, routes, and road signs
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screening, background check, road test, and driving record review
• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement in good standing and a clean driving record
