Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care (LTC) in Bridgeport, West Virginia for a 13‑week assignment. The position offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts with travel benefits and tax implications to be discussed.

The RN will oversee resident care, coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, supervise CNAs/LPNs, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in a LTC/SNF setting. A current BLS and WV licensure eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of RN experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Eligible for state nursing licensure in West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly
• Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs in daily care activities
• Provide wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and social workers
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in care plan meetings and family conferences
• Document nursing care and resident progress accurately and timely
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers

We're looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) for an immediate travel opening in Bridgeport, WV.
The right RN should have 1 year of experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Read below for more requirements.

As an RN in Long-term care, you will oversee and provide nursing care to residents with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or rehabilitation needs. You will coordinate care, supervise nursing staff, and work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote resident health and quality of life.

As an RN, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:
