Job summary

Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a contract assignment in Clinton, Maryland. The role requires an Associate's degree, an active PTA license (or in process), and CPR certification.

You will deliver outpatient PT services under PT supervision and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals. Shifts are 8 hours, days, Monday–Thursday noon–8 PM and Fridays 7 AM–3 PM, with a 13-week contract and travel employment type.

Qualifications

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a PT.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services per physician orders under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under supervision.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patients' goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with facility policies.

A great Outpatient facility is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA to join their growing team for a contract assignment!

• This is a contract assignment.
• Shift: Monday - Thursday Noon - 8 PM and Fridays 7 AM - 3 PM
• This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Requirements include:

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.
• Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT .
