Job summary
TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Tucson, Arizona.
The Telemetry RN will provide bedside care, monitor heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, ECG readings, and interpret data to support patient care. This is a 13-week travel assignment on 12-hour day shifts.
Requires 1–2 years of acute care experience with BLS/ACLS certifications; travel may involve additional certifications prior to start.
Qualifications
- Telemetry RN with acute care experience preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- 1–2 years of recent acute care experience requested.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data and vital signs.
- Identify abnormal telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
- Initiate corrective action based on monitoring results.
