Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Pomona, CA. The role emphasizes continuous cardiac monitoring, patient assessment, and collaboration with the care team in a busy telemetry unit.

Work schedule is 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts. Requirements include one year of Telemetry RN experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. The assignment offers competitive pay, benefits from day one, and support from a dedicated clinical staff.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Telemetry RN experience.
• Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• PCCN, NIHSS or additional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Document nursing assessments and patient care plans.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
