Job summary

TotalMed RN in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The travel RN will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, providing bedside care and telemetry monitoring in an acute care setting.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and a current BLS certificate. The role includes travel duties and a tax-free stipend; benefits are provided by TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Telemetry RN specialty experience preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust telemetry equipment and interpret displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify medical team.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
