Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry travel nurse for an assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. The position requires ACLS, BLS, and 1 year of acute care experience, with 13 weeks duration and 36 hours per week on night shifts. Travel experience is preferred.

The Telemetry RN will perform bedside care, monitor telemetry equipment, and respond to abnormal readings, coordinating with the healthcare team. A tax-free stipend may be determined, with weekly pay and benefits through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• 1 year of acute care experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust telemetry equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring information indicates adverse symptoms.
