Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Glendale, California. This role is a 13-week engagement with 36 hours per week on a night shift (12-hour shifts), categorized as Travel Employment.

The nurse will work in the Telemetry unit, ensuring patient monitoring, data interpretation, and care plan development for acute care patients. BLS and ACLS are required, along with an active RN license and accredited nursing degree.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Telemetry setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients by connecting them to machines that measure blood pressure, heart rate, breathing rate, blood-oxygen level, and electrocardiogram information.
• Monitor and interpret data to assess any potential health problems and needs.
• Develop nursing care plans and maintaining accurate medical records.
