Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL, performing night-shift care on 12-hour rotations. You will interpret EKGs, titrate meds, and monitor cardiac patients in an acute care setting on nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, about 36 hours weekly.

Requirements include RN licensure with active Illinois license, BLS; ACLS recommended; minimum 2 years' clinical experience, cardiothoracic and chest tube experience preferred; OSF policies apply.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and active Illinois license.
• BLS certification; ACLS recommended.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
• EKG interpretation and medication titration skills.
• Experience in telemetry and cardiothoracic care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret EKGs and titrate cardiac meds.
• Monitor patients on telemetry in acute care.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors.
• Potential float to other medical units as needed.
