Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry/Med Surg travel nurse in Salisbury, North Carolina for a 13-week assignment. The RN will work 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, within an acute care telemetry setting, and must have ACLS and BLS with 2+ years of experience.

Tasks include bedside care, monitoring telemetry equipment, interpreting readings, and alerting the team to abnormal results. This Temp travel role may require NIH-related certifications and additional prerequisites.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience.
• NIH certification or terminology noted in posting may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care to telemetry patients.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and adjust care as needed.
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and alert the medical team.
• Perform actions to respond to adverse changes in patient status.
