Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN for 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am) on a busy Neuro/Cardiopulmonary Telemetry unit in Chandler, AZ. The role requires recent RN experience, AZ or Compact license, and active BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications.

Expect 26-bed unit with onsite RT and Pharmacy support, patient ratios of 1:3-4, and potential float to sister facilities. Two days of unit-specific orientation are provided.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS active certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience, recent.
• Ability to interpret EKGs accurately.
• Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam within 24–48 hours prior to acceptance.
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration.
• Two professional references (one supervisor, one peer) with dates and rehiring eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care to Neuro, CVA, and pulmonary patients on a busy acute care unit.
• Two days of unit-specific orientation provided.
• Pass/fail Relias/ dysrhythmia and sterile technique tests on day one to orientation success.
• On-call duties and hospitalist rounds as needed.
