Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role covers Med Surg / Telemetry with 12-hour nights and 36 hours per week over a 26-week duration.

The TELE Travel Nurse will monitor telemetry equipment, provide bedside care, and respond to abnormal readings. ACLS and BLS are required, with 2 years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust telemetry equipment and record data.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
• Stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
