TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse for Med Surg / Telemetry in Springfield, Missouri. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour nights shifts, and travel employment status.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIH). Telemetry responsibilities include monitoring patient data and coordinating with the care team to ensure safety.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications required
• Tele travel nursing setting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust telemetry equipment and record displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
