Job summary

TotalMed RN is recruiting a Telemetry/Med Surg travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Burlington, NC. The RN will support Telemetry monitoring, bedside care, and rapid response to telemetry alarms during 12-hour night shifts at 36 hours per week.

Candidates should have 1-2 years of acute care telemetry experience, a valid RN license, and required certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIH. Travel-ready nurses are encouraged to apply for this travel opportunity.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care to telemetry and Med Surg patients.
• Monitor and adjust monitoring equipment and interpret readings.
• Identify irregular telemetry patterns and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
