Job summary

TotalMed RN in Mooresville, North Carolina is seeking a Telemetry/Med Surg travel nurse for a 13-week assignment. This position features 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, and a travel employment type.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and appropriate certifications. Telemetry RNs monitor heart rate, blood pressure and rhythm, perform bedside care, adjust equipment, identify irregular readings, and communicate findings to the care team.

• 1-2 years of acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry data (heart rate, BP, rhythm) and EKG information.
• Provide basic bedside care and assist with procedures as needed.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify care team.
• Adjust and interpret monitoring equipment and document findings.
