Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Austin, TX. You will work 36 hours per week on a night shift, providing expert cardiac monitoring and patient care in a telemetry unit.

The role requires one year of Telemetry RN experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS. PCCN/NIHSS and additional certifications are preferred. You’ll join a supportive team with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Telemetry RN experience
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data, and respond to abnormalities
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments focused on cardiac care
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures and exams
• Maintain patient comfort and safety in telemetry units
• Document nursing history and assessments; notify physicians of changes
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Initiate patient education on cardiac health and risk factors
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
