Malone Healthcare in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a 13-week assignment on a busy neuro/telemetry unit. The position requires 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and involves caring for stroke, neurosurgery, trauma, and general med/surg patients.

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS are required, and prior telemetry/neuro step-down experience is preferred. First-time travelers are not accepted. Travel nurses must adhere to unit-specific PPE and safety protocols.

Neuro Tele RN
Rotating 3x12 7a-7p, 7p-7a
Every other weekend required
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required
Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
1 year of experience required
No first time travelers accepted
Patient Diagnoses: Stroke, neurosurgery, trauma, general med/surg and IMC/Step down level of care.
Special Procedures: Lumbar drains, NIHSS, Stroke education
Unit Details: Busy stroke/neuro/trauma step-down unit. NIHSS required. Telemetry required. Usual patient assignment 1:4 may be higher at times depending on if additional resources available.
Navy Blue Scrubs
Travelers MUST shave for a mask to seal for Fit Testing. CAPRs and PAPRS are not provided and SSM will not allow travelers to use their own PAPRs or CAPRs at their facilities; there are no exceptions. Failure to shave for FIT testing will result in a cancel.
