Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry travel nurse for a Kalamazoo, Michigan assignment. The RN will monitor heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, SpO2, and ECG data via telemetry equipment, and provide bedside care.

This role requires 1 year of acute care experience and BLS/ACLS/NIH certifications, with travel duties across facilities. The position is a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights, with a tax-free stipend and benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Telemetry RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and vital signs with connected equipment.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
