Healthforce seeks a Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment on a hospital unit in Kansas City, KS. Start date is November 8, 2026, with 12-hour night shifts Fri–Sun and a 36-bed unit workflow. Credentialing, orientation, and CBC/drug screen are required at offer.

Requires KS RN licensure and ADN or higher; BLS and dysrhythmia exam completion are mandatory before submission. Expect weekend night coverage and possible float to adjacent units based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Requires KS RN licensure; ADN or higher.
• At least 1 year Telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting.
• BLS certification; must pass a dysrhythmia exam; proficient reading telemetry strips and cardiac drips.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for telemetry patients with continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Interpret telemetry strips and manage cardiac drips per orders; respond to rhythm changes per protocol.
• Administer medications and IV therapies; monitor for adverse effects and adjust care as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans; document in the EMR.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort on a 36-bed unit with 1:3–1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in morning huddles and shift handoffs.
