Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Belleville, IL. This role emphasizes continuous cardiac monitoring, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts and requires one year of Telemetry RN experience.

You will work in a telemetry unit providing comprehensive care, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. The position includes competitive pay and supportive clinical staff.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Telemetry RN experience
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments focusing on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and assists with cardiac procedures
• Maintains patient comfort and safety in telemetry unit
• Documents nursing history and assessments
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle changes
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
