Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, Kentucky. This role focuses on telemetry patient monitoring, reading heart rate and blood pressure data, and ensuring prompt clinical response. The travel RN will perform bedside care and coordinate with the healthcare team.

The position requires 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekly pay and guaranteed hours are part of the package.

Qualifications

• RN licensed Telemetry RN with acute care experience preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH certification or equivalent may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care to telemetry patients.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and other vital signs, adjusting monitoring equipment as needed.
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and communicate findings to the medical team.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data to ensure patient safety.
