Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry Travel RN for an assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. The position runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, on 12-hour day shifts. Travel status and ACLS/BLS requirements apply.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and will monitor telemetry equipment, perform bedside care, and promptly report abnormal findings to the care team. A supportive travel role with benefits is provided by TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• One to two years of acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized telemetry equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action when adverse telemetry data appears.
