Job summary

TotalMed RN in Chicago, IL seeks a Telemetry travel nurse (RN) for a 17-week assignment. The role requires 36 hours per week across 12-hour night shifts, with immediate travel nursing opportunities. ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications and 1–2 years of acute care experience are preferred.

The Telemetry RN will monitor heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, oxygen levels and ECG data, and respond to any abnormal findings accordingly.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• Telemetry monitoring proficiency and patient assessment.
• Nights, 12-hour shifts on travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside telemetry care and monitor patients.
• Interpret data from telemetry equipment and notify team.
• Identify abnormal readings and initiate appropriate actions.
• Document observations and ensure patient safety.
