Job summary

TotalMed is seeking Telemetry RN travel nurses for a 6-week assignment in Naperville, IL. The role focuses on Med Surg/Telemetry with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and a travel employment setup. ACLS/BLS and at least 3 years of RN experience in acute care are required, with NIH training preferred.

The RN will monitor telemetry data, perform bedside care, and respond to dynamic patient needs. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times, stand and walk for long periods, and

Qualifications

• Telemetry RN with acute care background
• ACLS and BLS required
• 3+ years RN experience preferred
• NIH training or equivalent desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and ensure patient comfort.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and other vital signs; document findings.
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and escalate to medical team.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
