Job summary

TotalMed RN in Springfield, IL seeks a Telemetry Travel RN to monitor patients on 12-hour day shifts, covering 48 hours weekly for a 25-week assignment. You will interpret telemetry data and ensure patient safety while coordinating with the care team.

The role requires ACLS/BLS certifications and 1–2 years of acute care experience. Travel readiness includes lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods. Benefits and stipends are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• RN with telemetry specialty and hospital experience.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Travel RN assignment with 25-week duration and 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust telemetry equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective actions when monitoring data shows alarms or adverse symptoms.
