Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This 12-week position requires a 36-hour work week with 12-hour shifts on a travel basis.

The Telemetry RN will provide continuous cardiac monitoring, administer medications, and work closely with the healthcare team to deliver safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting. Active RN license and BLS may be required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Minimum one year of professional nursing experience; telemetry experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for telemetry patients.
• Monitor telemetry, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes and alarms.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Document patient responses and changes in the EHR.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and discharge instructions.
