Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry/Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. This 12-hour night shift role entails 36 hours per week and telemetering patient data to the care team.

The travel nurse will provide bedside care, monitor telemetry equipment, and respond to abnormal readings while supporting acute care needs. Prior travel experience is preferred, with appropriate certifications and fitness for lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• RN with 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS and NIH certifications may be required before starting.
• Additional certifications may be required for the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust telemetry equipment and interpret displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data and patient status.
