Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry travel nurse to join a 13-week assignment in Redding, California. The RN will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts in a telemetry unit, providing bedside care and monitoring cardiac telemetry equipment.

Required include ACLS, BLS, NIH, and 2 years of acute care experience; certification readiness is expected before starting. Travel status and benefits apply through TotalMed RN's program.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIH certification mentioned.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry data and monitor patient status.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust telemetry equipment and interpret displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring data shows adverse signs.
