Job summary

FirstChoice – Trinity Health is seeking a part-time Surgical Technologist for mobile staffing at Trinity Health Grand Rapids. The role involves floating among hospital locations and regions, upholding professional practice standards, and delivering high-quality patient care.

You will work independently within your scope, collaborate with stakeholders, and adapt to evolving priorities while enjoying flexible scheduling and travel/per diem opportunities across multiple settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist.
• CST certification preferred; CST experience required.
• Minimum 18 months CST experience; equivalent military/on-job training acceptable with 5 years’ experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Preferred Education: Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist.
• Preferred Certification: CST
• A minimum of 18 months experience is required for CST
• If a Surgical Technologist program has not been completed, due to training on the job or trained in the military - Five (5) years’ work experience is required

• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
• Ability to complete the orientation and training. We have different options to choose from that will meet your schedule.

Gross Weekly Rate: $2080.00

** Only for surgical technologists coming to Michigan from out of state, over 60 miles from home to hospital. You cannot work in the same metropolitan area greater than 12 months in order to receive this rate. **
