Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel assignment in Manhattan, Kansas. You will support the OR team, transfer and position patients, prep for surgery and assist the surgeon during procedures.

Requirements include 1+ year of recent experience, NBSTSA certification recommended, BLS (AHA), and valid state license/registration if required. Benefits feature competitive pay, housing allowance, licensure reimbursement and per diem.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recent experience in surgical setting.
• NBSTSA certification highly recommended.
• Valid CST license or registration if required by state.
• Valid BLS (American Heart Association) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient transfers and positioning in the OR.
• Prep patients for surgery and maintain sterile technique.
• Assist the physician during surgical procedures.
• Sterilize and maintain OR instruments and equipment.
• Manage surgical supply inventory and place orders as needed.
• Ability to specialize in certain case types and work across acute care or outpatient settings.
