Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of total surgical tech experience

• Active credential by the NBSTA or NCCT (CST, CSFA, or TS-C depending on the job)

Role Responsibilities

Responsibilities include preparing surgical equipment, assisting during procedures, and coordinating with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care. Other duties involve maintaining detailed reports and providing compassionate, non-discriminatory care to all patients, families, and staff.

Requirements for Application

Applicants must have:

• An active certification from NBSTSA, NCCSA, or ABSA, or a first assistant certification
• At least one year of experience as a General surgical tech or first assistant, with recent experience within the past three years
• Graduation from an accredited program in your discipline
• Scoring 80% or higher on Nomad Health competency exams

If not certified, a minimum of 10 years of surgical tech experience is required; acceptance depends on individual facility policies.
