American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital Operating Room position in Maine. The role requires 2 years of OR experience and familiarity with the Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities include supporting the surgical team in the Operating Room, adhering to shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a 13-week contract, and complying with device-use policies and cross-facility assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience.
• BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Driver's license required for consideration.
• Two professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Hospital Operating Room department.
• Work 7:00 AM–7:00 PM on a 13-week assignment.
• Use the Epic EMR system.
• Adhere to 25-mile float policy between facilities as needed.
• Collaborate with the surgical team during procedures.
• Local candidates may be considered but are not eligible for renewals/extensions.
• Candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local.
• RTO should be kept to a minimum; 3–4 days for a 13-week contract.
• Disclose if you have worked at a MaineHealth facility in the past 12 months.
• Use of AirPods, laptops, and cell phones is prohibited on the unit.
