Job summary

IBI Clinic in Tampa, FL, and Hudson, FL seeks a Pro Re Nata Certified Surgical Technologist to join a mission-driven perioperative team. Travel within a 20-30 mile radius is required to support multiple Florida locations, ensuring safe and efficient surgical care across sites.

The candidate will be a graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program with current certification, possessing clinical experience, BLS or ACLS, and strong sterile technique knowledge to support surgeons and staff

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program with current certification.
• Must be able to travel within a 20-30 mile radius from residence to assist in Tampa, Hudson, and future Florida locations.

Responsibilities

• Function under the direction of the registered professional nurse to assist in safe and effective patient care.
• Prepare the operative suite and surgical field while maintaining sterile field protocols.
• Gather required instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and team for an efficient workflow.
• Exhibit expertise in progressively complex surgical cases and develop additional skills.
• Troubleshoot instruments and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance surgical outcomes.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stocking of surgical supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and best practices.
