Job summary

Cross Country Nurses in Vail, CO seeks a Surgical Technician for a 13-week travel assignment starting 10/12/2026. The OR technologist will support surgical teams by maintaining sterile fields, preparing instruments, and assisting with patient transport and room turnover.

The position requires completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program or licensure as a Surgical Technologist in Colorado, plus BLS and strong English skills. Float/AS support may be needed; travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or Licensed Surgical Technologist.
• Colorado Surgical Technologist license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to acquire necessary computer skills within 90 days.
• Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile fields and prepare surgical instruments.
• Assist with patient transport and room turnover.
• Ensure aseptic technique and safety in the perioperative team.
